Artist run workshops
Life drawing, still-life drawing, plein air, and painting workshops are run by the artist for government, school and private agencies.
Life drawing workshops are usually run over a 3 hour period and include and introduction to figure drawing, line and tonal studies and conclude with a longer pose for students to work on a finished piece.
Still-life workshops involve an introduction to painting with acrylics, covering concepts of tone, form, colour and composition. The Artist demonstrates painting techniques such as glazing, scumbling, wet-in-wet blending, the use of complimentary colours and most importantly the contribution of the individual's creativity and ideas.
Workshops can be tailored to a specific group or subject. If you would like to know more please contact yvonne.east@gmail.com for a quote.
